What we do is CPL Programming(critical parts list) That’s short for programming with in stock hardware parameters/specs. Squeezing as much efficiency as we can from parts that came from the factory.
To keep up with times we have also figured out a better solution to deletes that works with all climates. Especially in the Canadian tundra. We turn off the sensors in the exhaust that will not survive the extreme temperatures changes while you keep the filters in and just manually wash them every half a year. The concepts usually referred to as a passive DPF system. Its not the most noble solution but its a solution nonetheless that manages to keep the exhaust clean.
Most will advertise them as no maintenance solution. But in reality they need some manual cleaning every couple of months. Most OEM regeneration systems on the market are passive till they add the sensors and injectors and electronically hold down the pedal to raise the rpms to create heat and perform a regen. We in layman’s terms term off the second part keep it simple. Sometimes simple is the simple solution.
